George Berg, a veteran Holiness missionary to India, visits the Azusa Street Mission and is baptized in the Spirit. He and his wife, Mary, will return as Apostolic Faith missionaries to India in February 1908. Andrew Johnson, Louise Condit, and Mrs. Bushnell from New York, sail from New York. Lucy Leatherman remains in New York City. In Los Angeles, California, the Azusa Street Mission holds a service at the train depot as Mrs. Julia W. Hutchins, her husband Willis, and her niece, Leila McKinney, leave for a missionary term in Liberia. They will stop off in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where Julia Hutchins will hold meetings.
